DWB-111, the Propeller Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It is not a well-studied nebula and, consequently, not well characterized. The source of its atomic excitation and resulting emissions has not been established, nor has its distance from earth. Its estimated density of less than 50 solar masses makes it quite tenuous and requires considerable effort to image in detail.
